I love all animals. Especially street dogs and cats. They seem maybe to be more vulnerable therefore really .... loveable.
:iconcanis-fabula:
Yup!
But they are better at survival and with higher immune systems than pets unless hunted by humans.

Anna, you are turly a hero. :salute:

You fight for the rights of animals and for the environment. A lot of people don't even care about what happens to them, or our planet.

You fight for humans, too. Though, we all may seem intelligent, bright, nice, et cetera, et cetera, we are greedy, awful and one of the worst and best things ever created.

I'm not saying that there aren't people like you, though :D. There are many, many people who care for both the environment and humanity. :D You're awesome! You're just like my friends, and my teachers...

I wish to be like you, and even though I am trying my best, it seems as if I'm not so very devoted. :aww: But I know, that you'll end up saving our world, even if your efforts contribute only little.

Let's both try our best, to help the world in some way!

First, thank you.

But you know, I'm not really what you think I am. I'm only starting now...and I am not really as devoted...yet.

First, because I have no job for two years even though I'm a college graduate. The available jobs for me aren't what I like and I'm busy taking care of our household and recovering health that was damaged during college. You can read some background about my pets here.[link]

So, I'm not yet financially independent. I cannot fully become a real advocate if I can't be financially independent first.

So I'm doing what I can now with the least that I can do to help.

We're the same. We want to try our best. But it's not yet really possible unless we're finally in control of our own lives. So I hope that you won't get discouraged. Do not compare yourself with others. Even the little things that you do are helpful already.

I admire you because you want to do what is good and you know what is good. That means that there's a lot you can do even if it's little by little, like what I'm doing.

I hope we can get to know each other better here. Take care and yes, let's do our best! If real life won't permit it, then let's do what we can.

:glomp:

um... if you remove humans, then wouldn't it be humans that went extinct?

without life, there is no pain.
without pain, there is no love.
without love, there is no life.
:iconascione:
Either way, you're still my hero! You're a person who taught me to care for the environment, and you are the person who makes my love for the world, people and animals a little deeper!

:D You're the best, even if you say you're not "financially independent", but hey, let me tell you... Being a hero isn't about getting a job, or thinking that you're still young-being a college graduate, it's about doing the best in what you do! You're a hero, even if some people say you aren't, yet. You are because you do everything in your power for what's right!

See, you're a hero! And I take it back, your contributions to A LOT to help others!

Please don't say that you're not a hero (yet), because in my eyes, you are.

Oooh! And you have so many dogs! I have twelve dogs at home, and a lot of chickens too!

 You know, you are Miss Anna the Hero of the World!

Hi! Sorry for the late reply.

That was only my retort for people who recklessly say, "But they're are just animals." and believe that just because we're the highest in the food chain, that we can just do as we please with everything else that's around us.

There's a commercial from oneearth.org that made me think. That really, if you know a lot about science, you'll realize that no other specie would go extinct if you remove humans out of the picture. But humans are heading for extinction as they make species extinct one by one.

I've watched a documentary about a place, I think in America (I'll try to search for an article or online video about it) on National Geographic that humans living there were suffering from environmental problems. Then they found out that it's because a certain kind of tree stopped growing since the pictures were still in black & white. Then they found out that it was because a certain kind of animal were eating these plants/trees and they were too many. That was because the crocodiles were hunted to extinction in that area therefore those plant eating animals' population weren't controlled by the predators. So when they re-introduced the crocodiles again, the trees started to grow again and the environmental problems that made the human suffer were slowly being resolved.

Also, if you think about it, we humans produce a lot of waste that aren't naturally recycled by Earth. Even an environmentalist who is so conscious with his/her wastes still produce wastes that cannot be recycled by Earth.

I'm not an extremist or an activist. I'm just using logic. That we should just use what we need and if it's really necessary, then have some excesses sometimes.

This comment is too long. Anyway, I hope I didn't lose my point above. I'll explain about my stand when I update everything in this account again.

Thank you for taking your time to read and respond! Take care!
